Care Process
Clean, Nourish and Protect

Nurturing care falls into three distinct categories: shampoos, conditioners and treatments.

Shampoos
The word ‘shampoo’ is borrowed from Hindi - meaning ‘massage’. Shampoos foam away unwanted dirt, dust, sweat and excess sebum from the hair and scalp. Modern shampoos efficiently cleanse without stripping the hair of those all important essential oils. A pH value of 5 to 6 is ideal for maintaining the balance of your hair. Shampoos can also contain care agents such as panthenol and proteins, which regenerate the hair while it is being washed, maintaining elasticity and preventing damage.

Conditioners
A conditioner belongs to the basic hair care regime. These use synthetic or natural ingredients to improve hair quality after shampooing. The low pH-value will close the cuticle layer strengthening and smoothing the hair. Modern conditioners include extra capabilities such as UV filters and colour stabilisers which add an invisible layer of protection, suppleness and silky shine without overburdening the hair.

Treatments
These are designed to deliver an intense solution to a specific need providing superior and in-depth repair and conditioning. Deep conditioning treatments combine regenerating substances in high concentration. Due to their intensity they have a sustained effect, which lasts several hair washes, so they should not form part of your daily routine.
